Where to view the informed and/or to-be-informed users & how to mark an employee as informed
To see the list of informed or to-be-informed employees, you need to go to the Informed employees folder of the particular document. To mark an employee as informed:
- You can either enter the name of an employee who has been informed manually. This way is usually used for ad hoc users.
Or, you can click on the Inform button beside an employee's name. These users are set up in the document edit screen, the User groups folder, as predefined people that should be familiar with the document. In case you work with the Skill Matrix module as well, and the particular document is a part of required knowledge, the employees set up in the Skill Matrix appear here as To-be-informed users automatically.
